Community Guide for DDA/DSHS Clients
Community Guide & Engagement is a service provided through DDA (Development Disabilities Administration) for individuals with mild intellectual disabilities who live in their homes but need assistance accessing community resources. The community resources may include:
- Going to the library.
- Going to sports events.
- Filling out applications
- Going to a group class
- Going to the post office
- Going to meetings or doctor’s appointments
- And so much more based on the individual need
