Home Care Aide
This core training program covers the foundational knowledge and theory required to work as a professional caregiver. Delivered in a structured format, this course ensures learners understand safe caregiving practices, legal responsibilities, and client rights. The curriculum prepares students to meet state educational standards and sets them up for success when taking the state written and skills tests.
The course covers essential topics required for Washington State Home Care Aide training. Learners will study infection control, emergency procedures, communication strategies, nutrition, and documentation. Instructors guide students through the legal framework of caregiving and the core principles of maintaining client independence and safety in long-term care settings.
