I hope this newsletter finds you in Vibrant Health!

If you live in Tacoma or anywhere in Pierce County, you might have woken up to white sheets of snow on your doorstep on the morning of Friday the 13th (Wait, first snow of the season on Friday the 13th? If you are into superstitions, I will allow you a moment to indulge… )

Before I fully indulged in the magic of snowfall, Hannah, one of our Client Service Coordinators, posted in the office group chat, “Everyone, please drive safely and take your time coming in. The snow is starting to stick…”

Now that is communication and selfless compassion for others! I sure appreciated receiving that message. And this brings me to today’s topic, communication!

Effective Internal communication is essential at Vibrant Health Homecare because it ensures the highest quality of care, promotes safety, and fosters a supportive team environment.

Clear, timely information-sharing between caregivers and management reduces errors, improves coordination of care plans, and helps identify and resolve issues before they affect clients.

We encourage every employee to communicate respectfully and proactively—report changes in a client’s condition, share observations and ideas, ask questions when unclear, and provide constructive feedback to supervisors.

External communication with community partners is also important, as it enables effective collaboration with other providers. Speaking of external communication, in recent weeks, we have had several employees participate in various video messaging to teach the community who we are and what we do at Vibrant!
